Bryan Simmons who is known to the world as TM88 was born on April 4th 1987 in Miami, Florida. In the last decade TM88 has been instrumental in pushing sonic boundaries unforeseen previously to themusical landscape of Atlanta.At the early age of 22 TM88 made his emergence into the entertainment industry after working with friend and rising artist Slim Dunkin of Brick Squad Records in 2009.It was through this opportunity that together with fellow super producer Southside, TM88 was hand selected to form the production group 808 Mafia. TM88 made his major solo production debut on Waka Flocka Flame’s “Lurkin” which was placed on his second major label album Triple F Life in 2012.
TM88 and 808 Mafia revamped the Brick Squad sound and brought life back to trap music through expanding its sonic range though pushing the boundaries of what would be accepted essentially raising the bar for producers across the board.After capturing the streets with placements in 2012 TM88 followed up in 2013 on major tapes such as Future's FBG Movie mixtape. Through this curating a new sound for Future and setting the tone for Trap music for the year.Following that TM88 teamed back up with Gucci Mane to put together a collection of mixtapes prior to landing a placement on Gucci Mane’s album Trap House 3. Leading to his next major label placement on Futures Honest album in early 2014.
Continuing his progression TM88 along with other producers in his circle played a vital role in then upcoming Rapstar Young Thugs signature sound and charting first hit single "Danny Glover" of which TM88 has co production credits.Then making a mainstream transition through cultivating collaborative relationships with the likes of DJ A-Trak and Travis $cott launching TM88 to a larger demographic. Continuing his run with Future in 2014 being a part of his recent mix tape reemergence series getting multiple placements on Monster with hits such as “Codeine Crazy”. Then in 2015 continued to elevate production collaborations with Travis Scott which landed him a placement on Drakes platinum selling album "If You're Reading This It's Too Late" with the song "Company" featuring Travis $cott. This collaboration lead to TM88’s first Grammy Nomination. That placements was followed up with placements on Travis $cott debut album Rodeo with the track “Night Crawler” and the first single from Jeezy’s next album Seen It All: The Autobiography entitled “God”.
2016 Started off with a bang for TM88 landing placements on Future’s EVOL album with the track “Six Rings” followed up by adding his touch to the 2 Chainz & Lil Wayne collaboration album Collegrove with “Not Invited”. TM88 continued to add to his endeavors by captivating the DJ touring market. With his first headlining appearance as the official tour DJ for Young Thug on his Hy!£UN35 Tour with Lil Yachty which was sold out nationwide and led to TM being Young Thugs Official DJ for 2 years traveling Worldwide with each other.
TM88 also continued to add notches under his belt while forming the super group TGOD Mafia alongside Juicy J & Wiz Khalifa . With their debut major label album TGOD Mafia: Rude Awakening which debuted #1 on itunes. Closing out the year on a very high note closing out there with a plethora of placements on Young Thug’s very well received “Jeffery” Album producing hit singles like “Wyclef Jean” and “ Future Swagg”. Along with a spreading his sound through the industry even more than before.
2017 Marked a very pivotal year for TM88 with the release of his global megahit with Lil Uzi Vert’s “XO Tour Lif3” which was a billboard top 10 smash. Still one of best streaming songs of all time. TM88 also successfully endeavored into his own nation DJ tour entitled “How to Drip”. Which catching major records across the industry with major placement with likes of Travis Scott & Quavo [Huncho Jack], Gucci Mane, Lil Pump, Smokepurrp, Shy Glizzy, and Moneybagg Yo just to name a few.
Tm88 continues to make his rise through the industry with more major placements on the way. In 2018 signed with Capitol Records and is currently in the process of working on his forthcoming album.
