kwassa has been making music for as long as he can remember. He was still at school when he was part of the youngest band to play at Glastonbury, and has spent the past five years developing his sound under the name KYKO. He quickly found an audience online who connected with his musical daydreams about life and love. He independently released two EPs that earned support from The Line Of Best Fit, Wonderland and Clara Amfo at BBC Introducing, as he racked up a total of 15 million streams and resulted in him selling out London's Omeara.

Scott compares evolving into kwassa as "a new chapter" in his musical journey. The new name reflects his wide-ranging inspirations including the music he grew up with: Vampire Weekend and particularly their song 'Cape Cod Kwassa Kwassa.'

Scott also possesses a creativity that extends far beyond music, co-running Hundred Club -- a DIY fashion label with 12k-strong Instagram following (@wearehundred) which sells t-shirts and tote bags that he designs, paints and prints in limited edition runs of 100 items. The kwassa project marks a new day for this promising young artist and creative polymath whilst he works towards his first EP in the studio.
