moe. will return to the road for a limited number of dates this winter. The group's first run of shows since this past August will consist of a series of two-night stops at Denver's Fillmore Auditorium (1/30-31), New York's Terminal 5 (2/13-14) and Chicago's Riviera Theatre (2/27-28). These six shows will be moe.'s only this winter, and a pre-sale is scheduled to start Wednesday, November 5 through moe.ticketing. General on-sale begins on Saturday, November 15. Meanwhile, moe.'s Al Schnier and Vinnie Amico kicked off a tour with the Transamericans at Utica, NY's Saranac Brewery on Halloween. In addition to a handful of songs off Schnier's new release This Day & Age, moe. staples like "Waiting for the Punchline" and originals by the guitarist's bandmates, the evening's selists included a wide range of covers: Neil Young's "Cinnamon Girl," Hank Williams' "Jambalaya" and The Grateful Dead's "Deal." The group will appear at Unity, ME's Unity Centre on November 5.
