MTV2:
The Airborne Toxic Event's video for "Sometime Around Midnight" was just added to MTV2's "Elite 8" program. Starting Monday Nov 10, the video will be 1 of only 8 videos in Heavy Rotation (Most rotation you can get) on MTV2.
NBC PROMO:
Starting Thanksgiving weekend, NBC will start running 10-second NBC promos featuring different musical artists: BB King, The B-52's, Richie Sambora, Clint Black, The Flaming Lips, T.I., Diddy, The Airborne Toxic Event and possibly others. For the first seven seconds of each clip, the artists get to do whatever they want; at seven seconds, the artists play the three-note NBC chime; then a Cyron comes on that says "Chime In with The Airborne Toxic Event."
The band recreated their idea from their acoustic series and crammed in the back of an old '70s limo with all their acoustic instruments. For the first seven seconds they play the hook of "Gasoline" with Anna playing the melody on the viola. The car stops abruptly at seven seconds. Noah plays the NBC chimes on his upright bass as an outside shot of the limo reveals the headstock of the bass sticking out of the sunroof and Noah's hand's playing the 3 notes. The car pulls away as the band kicks back into "Gasoline."
NBC states that each individual clip will get close to 50 million viewers a week.
