Ingrid Michaelson quickly rose to national attention in 2007 when songs from her debut album Girls and Boys were featured prominently on TV shows like Grey's Anatomy and One Tree Hill, as well as in a major Old Navy TV spot.

Michaelson's next release will come October 14, via her own Cabin 24 Records. A portion of the proceeds from Be OK, a collection of live recordings and unreleased original and cover songs, will benefit Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C), an online initiative working to fund cancer research. Michaelson's headlining Be OK Tour will launch following the release of the album, and "Be OK" necklaces that Michaelson personally designed will be available at tour stops and online, with proceeds going to SU2C.

Prior to the Be OK Tour, Michaelson will support Jason Mraz in Europe from Sept. 16 through Oct. 5; then headline the first all-female installment of the Hotel Cafe Tour from oct. 16-27. A portion of the proceeds from the Hotel Cafe Tour will be donated to UNFPA and Amnesty International's Stop Violence Against Women Campaign.
