CARTER'S CHORD WRITE & RECORD LIFETIME CAMPAIGN THEME

Acclaimed Country Trio "Make It Count" On YouTube, TV & Tour

(NASHVILLE, Tenn.) Show Dog Nashville sister trio Carter's Chord know that each of their voices is an irreplaceable part of their sound, and in similar fashion are helping Lifetime Networks spread the message that Every Woman Counts.

Carter's Chord have recorded the theme song for Lifetime's Every Woman Counts campaign, which involves a nationwide bus tour stopping at the Democratic and Republican conventions, a YouTube campaign and an on-air campaign on Lifetime Television. Becky, Emily and Joanna Robertson, aka Carter's Chord, wrote and recorded "Make It Count," which the network is using on-air, on the tour and in a video montage on Lifetime's YouTube Channel.

In addition to voicing the theme, the group is drawing considerable attention with their recently released self-titled debut album:

"...an act that's both commercially appealing and fresh-sounding. 'Different Breed' is a haunting minor-key ballad, catchy lyrics, a sort of 'Redneck Woman' for the younger ladies. The sisters each bring something different to the table, but it's the blend of all three that makes Carter's Chord a tasty combination."
--Palm Beach Post Gazette

"After listening to the self-titled debut from Carter's Chord, it's easy to understand why music superstar Toby Keith said, 'As soon as I saw these girls perform, I knew they had to be on [my label] Show Dog.'"
--Nuvo Newsweekly "...their three voices combine in a singular sound that is complex, strong, and naturally harmonious." --American Cowboy

Becky, Emily and Joanna made their major label debut as children, singing on Waylon Jennings' country album for kids, Cowboys, Sisters, Rascals & Dirt. Their immersion in music led them almost inevitably to Nashville, where Toby Keith signed them to his Show Dog Nashville label. Carter's Chord are currently on Keith's Biggest & Baddest Tour, along with Montgomery Gentry and Trailer Choir.
